Barbering Program Description

The Barber Program includes coursework in treatment of hair and scalp: shampooing, hair cutting, hair styling, shaving, hair coloring, permanent waving and chemical relaxers, facial massage and treatments, sanitation procedures, salon management, laws, rules and regulations. Training is the combination of theory and clinical training achieved through a practical setting with students working on clients in Emily Griffith's Barber Shop. Students completing the program will be prepared to take the Colorado State License Examination.
