Nurse Aide Registration is open for 2011/12

Registration for fall semester Nurse Aide and Home Health Aide coursesis open.

Students inferest in Nurse Assistant and Home Health Aide classes are encouraged to get a head start by completing the free school application and the required free assessment test. Registration will be on a first come first serve basis. In order to save your spot in the class you will need to register and pay. After registering, if you decide to not attend the class, we request that you drop the class at least five business days prior to the first day of class in order to request a refund from the Treasurer's Office, Room 239.

2011/2012 Tuition and Textbook Costs:

  • Nurse Assistant: $450 plus textbook $125

  • Home Health Aide: $450 plus textbook $45

  • Home Health Aide Extended morning class: $814 plus textbook $45

Where do you start? Complete the free school application online at the school website www.EmilyGriffith.edu or in person at the Registration Center. Government issued I.D. required. Complete the free reading assessment test in Room 205. Register and pay for the class of your choice. The tuition payment secures your place in the class of your choice.

The textbook does not need to be purchased at the time of registration; you may purchase your textbook in Treasurer's Office, Room 239, at a later date. Textbooks are required the first day of class.

At the first class meeting, be prepared to show documentation of your TB test, Colorado Bureau of Investigation background check (www.CBIrecordscheck.com), student picture I.D and receipt of payment. Disqualifying factors on a Colorado Bureau of Investigation background check are listed here on this webpage.You will need to purchase your background check as soon as possible or at least two weeks before the class starts.

Please note:if your Colorado Bureau of Investigation Background check has any Disqualifying Criminal Offenses you may drop the class and receive a full refund provided the request is made at least five business days prior to the first day of class. If you do not drop the class before the five days before class starts then you forfeit your registration and payment for the class.

Nursing Assistant Registration:

  • First come, first serve registration

  • Registration Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday---8 A.M - 6 P.M, Thursday 8 A.M - 3 P.M, Friday 8 A.M - 1 P.M

  • Students may register for any fall semester Nurse Assistant or Home Health Aide course.

  • Only full payment reserves your spot in a particular class.

  • Requirements upon first day of class:

    • You must have background check documentation that does not contain disqualifying factors,

    • Student picture I.D,

    • proof of negative TB test results,

    • and your textbook.
