Dispensing Opticianry Program Description
Students in this program learn to dispense eyeglasses and to interpret an eye doctor's prescription in preparing comfortable and vision correcting eyewear. Following successful completion of this two semester program, students may take the National Opticianry Competency Examination. It is a good stepping stone to higher level positions in the eye care industry.
