Language Learning Center
Welcome to the Language Learning Center at Emily Griffith Technical College! English as a Second Language (ESL) classes have been at Emily Griffith since the school opened in 1916. We are located in downtown Denver, and offer day, evening, and weekend classes.
Each year, more than 2,500 students from more than 50 countries study English at the Language Learning Center at Emily Griffith. The Language Learning Center offers programs and classes to meet the needs of our diverse student population including:
- intensive, academic, and job-related English as a Second Language (ESL) classes,
- intensive programs for refugees and civics
- and citizenship classes in our Pathways to Citizenship Program.
The mission of the Language Learning Center is to provide learner-centered programs that empower and encourage students to meet their individual language goals.
