Denver Public Schools has agreed to fund a feasibility study that will examine our needs for a new facility. With this development, we can be sure we have explored all opportunities and secured the best possible option to continue the legacy of Emily Griffith Technical College.

Emily Griffith Technical College, the post-secondary arm of Denver Public Schools (DPS), has been the premiere provider of adult career and technical education in Denver for 91 years. In order to continue to serve the community, Technical College must plan for the future.

It is essential that Technical College plan to upgrade its facility. It is the most urgent need and will allow it to continue serving the Denver community for the next century.

Recently, DPS agreed to fund a feasibility study that will examine the needs for a facility, then design and plan the facility. Therefore, we have taken our name out of consideration for this bond in November.

With careful discussions with DPS, the citizens’ committee and other community developers, Technical College has taken a great step towards making our new facility a reality. With the support of DPS, Technical College will move forward with the careful planning in cooperation with the district.

Technical College continues to explore all options and make every effort to continue the legacy Emily Griffith began in 1916. We appreciate your support.
