Learn the business behind the party. The Event Management Specialist certificate program will build the foundation that will prepare you with a combination of essential event management skills and core business competences to enter the vast and emerging event industry.
Instructor Janice Genova brings over 10 years of event and festival experience and is certified by the CFEE (Certified Festivals and Events Executive). The program includes instruction on budget, negotiation, customer service, troubleshooting technology and more. Graduates will be prepared to work in the emerging event industry in careers such as corporate events, fundraising, entertainment, leisure and travel, sporting, meetings and conventions.
