General InformationBook and Tool InformationStudents are responsible for providing their own books. They can be purchased online at Specialty-Books.com (800-466-1365) and the College of Health Science books can be purchased from University of Colorado Health Sciences Book Store (303-724-2665). Many career/technical courses require students to provide their own tools. The school specifies the tools students must purchase for their training. Tools are available from a number of local sources. Class CancellationsClasses are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment or for any other reason determined by the administration. In the event of inclement weather, classes will be held as scheduled unless Technical College administration cancels classes. Such notice will be communicated by radio and/or television. Graduation RequirementsStudents must pass program required course work with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better and complete all required courses that make up a program of study in the career area of choice. Students may also be required to pass industry, state, or federal assessments that provide licensure to those who pass. This licensure allows the student to gain employment in those respective fields. Student Identification CardsStudent photo identification cards are available at the Student Success Center. The first ID is free, replacements cost $5. Photo identification is required in the following situations:
