General Information and Policies

Emily Griffith Technical College is the nation's oldest and most experienced public technical college, owned by Denver Public Schools. Fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement and the Colorado Community College System, the school has operated continuously since 1916. Emily Griffith Technical College is currently open year round, evening, and Saturday and serves approximately 10,000 students annually with about 40 certification programs and more than 500 day and evening classes.

At Emily Griffith Technical College we pride ourselves on serving our students needs by being flexible and affordable. Programs and courses are offered at semester intervals, regularly scheduled enrollment periods or on open-entry/open-exit, online, hybrid online and self-paced basis.
