1. Complete a Free Application

   • Apply online now

   • Apply in person at Registration Center at 1250 Welton St., second floor

   • Bring your State ID or Drivers' License to the Registration Center

   • Registration Center: 720-423-4702

2. Take a Free Program Entrance Assessment

   • Access in person in room 205 at 1250 Welton Street

   • Assessment test hours

   • Assessment is not necessary if taking Extended Learning Classes

   • Bring a State ID or Drivers' License ID

   • Take results to Registration Center for class registration and advising

   • Assessment Office: 720-423-4759

3. Financial Aid (Optional) (Only applicable for Financial Aid eligible programs)

   1. Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The school code is 005596. Financial Aid application help is available by appointment.

   2. After you have received your student aid report (SAR), please make appointment for certification.

   3. Your financial aid advisor will contact you within two weeks of Emily Griffith Technical College receiving your FAFSA information. If your financial aid advisor does not contact you within two weeks, please contact the Financial Aid Office.

4. Meet with an Advisor (if necessary)

   • Your advisor can answer any questions, help you develop a schedule, and assist in course selection and discuss payment options.

   • Call 720-423-4712 to schedule an appointment

5. Register for Classes

   • Register for classes in person at the Registration Center

   • Registration hours

   • Schedule of classes and catalog

   • Registration Center: 720-423-4702

6. Pay for Classes

   • Pay with cash, check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard only) in person or by phone.

   • Payment by cash, or agency/sponsor, or use of the payment plan option must be done in person.

   • Payment is the only way to save your seat in class.

   • No bill, receipt, or copy of schedule will be mailed.

   • Verify payment at the Treasurer's Office

7. Buy Books

   • Buy books online at www.Specialty-Books.com or call 800-466-1365

   • College of Health Sciences books can be bought at Anschutz Medical Center Bookstore (303-724-2665)

   • Books need to be in hand for the first day of class

Certain requirements such as background checks, uniforms, prerequisite courses are needed before starting classes.
