Student Advising and Counseling Services

Academic Advising

Not sure about a program? Having problems in a course? Academic advisors serve as coordinators of the students' educational experiences. Helping students define realistic educational goals, advisors assist students in planning a program consistent with their abilities, interests, and career goals. In addition, they assist students in monitoring their educational progress. Advisors provide information related to advisee status toward program completion and discuss career opportunities.

Students should schedule an appointment with an advisor prior to each course registration period. Students are expected to be knowledgeable of program requirements as outlined in the catalog. To schedule an appointment with your academic advisor please call: 720-423-4712.

Want to sit in a class before you commit to the program? Visitor's passes are available to prospective students wishing to observe one class session free of charge. For information, check with an advisor or counselor. Out of courtesy, the school requests that visitors wait until a break or the end of class to speak with the instructor.
