Welding
The Welding program teaches the skills necessary to pass state welder tests in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Oxy-Acetylene, Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), open plate, and pipe welding. Students will meet American Welding Society (AWS) standards. Certification is available in SMAW and GMAW.

All Process Welding Programs
These programs are financial aid qualified.
The
Welding- AWS SENSE Entry Level I - All Process Certification program teaches students safety, and entry level welding skills in all processes and in all positions.
The
Welding - AWS SENSE Advanced Level II - All Process Certificationis for students who have completed the AWS Level l - All Process Certification program. Students will continue to develop welding skills through advanced projects in all positions.
The
Welding - AWS SENSE Expert Level III - All Process Certification is for students who have completed the AWS Level l & ll - All Process Certification programs and for the industry professional who wants to attain additional welding process experience. Industry professionals who have not completed AWS Level l must interview with the instructors before registering for the program. Students will weld advanced projects in all processes and in all positions.
The
AWS SENSE Level ll & lll- All Process Certification program is for the welding students who have completed AWS Level l and elects to attain additional welding process experience. Students will weld advanced projects in all processes and in all positions. This program is eligible for federal financial aid. Industry professionals who have not completed AWS Level l must interview with the instructors before registering for the program.
